Plasma Engineer (Product R&D)

Responsibilities:

  • Design optimization, testing, and system integration for plasma products per requirements;
  • Prepare and maintain related technical documentation;

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or above in low-temperature plasma physics, gas discharge, electric propulsion, hollow cathode materials, or related fields;
  • 3+ years of experience (graduate research counted equivalently);
  • Familiar with low-temperature plasma/gas discharge theory and applications;
  • Proficient with plasma simulation tools;
  • Experience in plasma technology, diagnostics, or related engineering projects;

Nice to have:

  • Expertise in a specific electric propulsion application;

Hardware Engineer (Sensor R&D)

Design and optimize electronics for plasma measurement sensors; component selection and system integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/optimize electronics for plasma measurement sensors; component selection and integration;
  • Optimize electronics for other measurement devices;
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation;
  • Install and debug electrical systems for products;
  • Work with mechanical and software teams to deliver new products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (or equivalent ability) in electronics, electrical automation, measurement & instrumentation, or related majors;
  • 3+ years of experience (graduate research counted equivalently);
  • Skilled in analog/digital circuit debugging; solid low-level electronics knowledge;
  • Proficient with eplan or similar design tools;
  • Able to design, select, and integrate circuits independently;
  • Solid foundation and experience in hardware circuit design;

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with Ethernet, RS232/485, CAN, USB protocols;
  • Experience with PLC/LabVIEW or similar host systems;
  • Background in plasma-related disciplines;

Space Power Electronics Engineer (Power Electronics)

Design and optimize power supply hardware from concept through prototyping and iterative refinement.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in power supply hardware product design and implementation, covering requirements understanding, solution evaluation, prototype debugging, and iterative optimization
  • Design switching power supply circuits including component selection, schematic/PCB design, prototype debugging, issue diagnosis and resolution
  • Support product-level testing and verification (efficiency, ripple, dynamic response, reliability), deliver design and test documentation
  • Collaborate with structure, process, and testing teams to deliver projects on schedule and continuously improve manufacturability and maintainability
  • Track industry solutions and components to continuously improve product performance and engineering maturity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, power electronics, or related fields
  • R&D experience in switching power supplies/power electronics, capable of independently driving hardware design and debugging
  • Familiar with common power supply topologies and control methods, with practical understanding of stability, noise/ripple, protection strategies
  • Proficient in at least one EDA tool for schematic and PCB design (e.g., Altium/AD), with good layout/routing practices
  • Strong hands-on debugging and problem analysis skills, capable of using oscilloscope, electronic load, power supply, multimeter, and other common instruments
  • Good documentation habits and communication/collaboration skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with high-reliability/harsh-environment power products
  • EMI/EMC debugging experience or awareness
  • Magnetic component design/evaluation or thermal design experience
  • Mass production introduction or engineering delivery experience (DFM/DFT, process collaboration)

Hall Thruster Propellant Feed System Engineer (Propulsion Supply & Plumbing)

Design and implement propellant feed systems for electric propulsion (Hall thrusters), covering requirements decomposition, solution evaluation, detailed design, integration, testing, and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement propellant feed systems for electric propulsion (Hall thrusters), covering requirements decomposition, solution evaluation, detailed design, integration, testing, and delivery closure
  • Participate in component selection and interface definition for propulsion gas paths/feed systems (valves, regulators, flow control, filters, plumbing connections, etc.), and complete system-level configuration and design output
  • Evaluate plumbing layout and assembly process feasibility, integrate and debug propulsion systems, identify and resolve gas supply issues (flow stability, response, leaks, contamination, etc.)
  • Support ground testing and verification work, organize test data and produce necessary technical documentation and deliverables
  • Collaborate with thruster body, testing, structure, and thermal control teams to deliver projects on schedule and continuously improve reliability and maintainability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in aerospace, mechanical, fluid dynamics, vacuum, automation, or related fields
  • R&D or engineering experience with propulsion systems/gas path systems/vacuum systems, capable of independently driving subsystem design and integration
  • Familiar with common gas supply/control components and their engineering applications, with system-level thinking (performance, reliability, maintainability, manufacturability)
  • Strong hands-on experimental skills and problem analysis capabilities, able to conduct leak detection, flow/pressure testing, system debugging, and fault diagnosis
  • Good documentation skills and cross-team communication abilities

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Hall thrusters, cold gas propulsion, or electric propulsion ground testing
  • Knowledge of cleanliness/contamination control, material compatibility, vacuum system engineering (pumping, outgassing, bakeout, etc.)
  • Experience with high-pressure gas systems, pressure vessels, plumbing assembly and inspection
  • Familiar with common engineering standards/processes (reviews, verification, test records, configuration management, etc.)
